Who founded Lonvest?

Lonvest does not directly issue loans.&nbsp;
Loans come from partners &mdash; microfinance organizations from all over the world. We check that the companies we partner with have a wealth of lending knowledge, practice expert risk management, and have a solid financial position. Unique investment strategies are developed using the received loan portfolios and are based on distinctive models for reducing investment risks and maximizing investor returns. After investing in a pool (investment strategy), Lonvest algorithms finance loans from microfinance institutions. Investors receive dividend payments as soon as the loans are paid off, and the initial investment is returned following the completion of the acquisition.

How does Lonvest work?

To create an investor account, you need to do the following:

How can I withdraw my funds?

In 2015, two entrepreneurs, one with a background in technology and online marketing, and the other in finance, merged to form <a href="https://mycredit.ua/ua/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MyCredit</a>, a successful financial company in Ukraine. In 2019, MyCredit <a href="https://uadn.net/2019/08/02/ukrainian-tas-group-leads-3-million-round-for-local-fintech-startup-mycredit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attracted investment from TAS</a>, one of the largest banks in the UA market. Nowadays, MyCredit is the leading online lending company in Ukraine, with the largest loan portfolio in 2022.
In 2019, the partners decided to expand geographically and established lending operations in Vietnam, with a headquarters in Singapore. They further expanded into Sri Lanka (2020) and Poland in 2022. The international expansion was self-financed, relying on the partners' own capital without loans or external investments.
The sustainable business model and profitability led the group to launch the <a href="http://lonvest.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lonvest</a> platform, aiming to provide a secure investment opportunity for investors and facilitate more active expansion in current and new markets.
The Space Crew Finance group currently employs over 500 individuals in 5 countries, encompassing various departments such as IT, risk management, finance, automation, and the call center. The group's operations are strategically organized, with a central headquarters driving core competencies, while field teams handle operational challenges.
This well-defined structure, coupled with the central office, allows for efficient scaling of operations. We have a team of risk managers who determine the performance metrics for each company.
Depending on the markets, these may be different indicators in terms of growth dynamics, overdue portfolio, collection efficiency and other parameters.
Also, we separately monitor the company's financial statements and plan to publish them on the platform.

How does the company mitigate risks for investors?

Because all loans are covered by company and group guarantees, we predict a minimal or no default rate.
If we talk directly about the originators, then the normal default rate in the short-term business is from 12 to 22%, depending on the market and business strategy. But this should not affect platform investors in any way.

What is the historic default rate of the platform?

Currently, we are operating within the Croatian jurisdiction, which allows platforms like ours to operate without a formal license. Notable platforms such as Peerberry, Robocash, and Esketit also operate with similar legal structure.&nbsp;
By launching in Croatia, we can concentrate on our core business, IT product development, and marketing. Obtaining a license remains a crucial priority for us in the future, as outlined in our roadmap.
